The call was extended to the more than 500 doctors affiliated to Top Doctors Colombia, and to more than 3,000 highest level doctors nationally identified by the company, and was open to receive more nominations during 2017 through an online platform. The prize was given by the medical community, as the selected specialists were nominated and voted by their own colleagues, what converts Top Doctors Awards in a high professional prestige award. To create the winner list, it was taken into account the mark given by the patients through the year.
